   The  Ninglashaini Bhagwati Temple , located in  Dasharathchand Municipality, Baitadi District , holds great  religious and mythological significance . This temple is considered one of the  most sacred Hindu temples  in the  Sudurpaschim Province of Nepal . Every year, during the  Maha Ashtami  festival, a grand  jatra (religious fair)  is held at the temple, where  goats and he buffaloes are sacrificed  as offerings to the goddess. It is a tradition to bring  sacrificial animals  to the temple on the  Saptami (seventh day)  of  Dashain , and on  Maha Ashtami (eighth day) , the sacrifices take place as part of the ritual.
